Lettering Options
Any sign starts off with a background panel. This could be your painted Shop Fascia, Shop Window or one of the many choices of background panels that we have to offer. Then the Lettering or Logo is put on top. Check-out our Background Materials page for more information.
We have various options for the lettering or logo, starting with the simplest and cheapest option...
Self adhesive Vinyl
Computer Generated, Self Adhesive Vinyl Lettering, Logos and other Graphic Elements, are the single most popular lettering medium used today for general signs. The massive range of colours available ensures that virtually any corporate colours can be matched too. When they can't and the match needs to be spot-on, we can Digitally Print the colour and cut the lettering in one go on our Large Format Digital Imaging Printers.
Letter Styles are practically limitless as over the years we have built up a large library. if we do get caught out though we simply buy the new letterstyle. Virtually any shape can be produced too, so we can provide logos and even complicated Graphic Elements and Striping.
We have customers who want to just buy the lettering so that they can make their own sign or they purchase Vinyl Graphics from our online shop where we have loads of products that will help your business stand out in a crowd.
Typical uses include Sign Panels, Vehicle Signage or Livery, Window Lettering and Graphics, and we even produce Self Adhesive Vinyl Wall Art for your front room!
Perspex Acrylic Lettering - (Flat cut & Built Up)
Flat-Cut Perspex Acrylic Letters and Logos can be fitted to the background either directly or on a Stand-off fixing which gives an appearance of hovering above the surface of the sign. Built-up Acrylic Lettering in contrast, gives a 3D effect with the actual thickness of the letter being a feature.
Flat-Cut, Mirrored, Stainless Steel Lettering
Whilst being relatively expensive, the resultant effect is one of opulance and quality. This type of Lettering and Logos is frequently used on Large Corporate Offices and the like. There is also the option to have Built-Up Stainless Steel letters that are truly classy.
Flat-Cut Dibond Aluminium Composite Lettering and Logos
This material is a much cheaper alternative to Stainless Steel but ultimately does not last as long. There is also an option to use a "Brushed", also known as a "Butler" finish. It is still very popular and enables smaller businesses to have a wonderfully expensive looking sign.
